Local transportation
BEAUTIFUL KEA ISLAND, GREECE
The property is on the north-west side of the island, 5km from the port of Korissia, and it takes 15 minutes to reach by car. It also takes 15 minutes to reach the capital Ioulida by car. Most beaches like Poisses, Koundouros, Vroskopos, Xyla, Otzias can be reached within 20-25 minutes.
Local buses
There are two bus routes operating on the island of Tzia – Kea. One route connects the port of Korissia with Ioulida based on the arrivals and departures of boats. The other route connects Otzias, Pisses and Koundouros. The property is not on the public transport route as one has to use the bus service either from the port or the capital.
Taxi service
There are also plenty of taxes which can reach any destination on the island. The taxi fare from the port to Green Island is approximately 12 euros.
Car or motorbike rental
Travelers can discover the enchanting island of Kea at their own pace and convenience by renting a car or a motorbike from various car rental agencies. There is the chance to hike as well using the well maintained and mapped network of ancient paths serving almost every town of the island.
